Background

Hanshi Chris began his training in Shukokai and Kyokushin with the Galway Karate Club at the age of seven. He received his black belt in 1988 in Nemuru under Hanshi Munchbach. He has been an instructor since 1983.

Hanshi Chris competed in tournaments throughout the Capital District of New York as a junior competitor and adult through college. He has won numerous events in sparring and kata. Later shihan returned to competition as a senior competitor and has won several timess at the American International Karate Championships, North East Open, Diamond Valley Classic, and Capital District Open.

In 1996 hanshi started Golden Eagle Martial Arts in Webster, NY with the intention of offering instruction that is more affordable. In 2014 he turned over the reins in Webster to Sensei Matt McSain and reurned to his hometown. At the end of 2015 he took over operations of the Galway Karate Club upon Hanshi Munchbach's retirement. Working with Sensei McSain he has united the schools in Galway and Webster under the Golden Eagle Martial Arts banner.

Hanshi Malley continues to train with his instructors and constantly tries to improve his art. Never caring for the politics with in the martial arts world he always looking for new skills to add to the Inuwhash Do system and add innovative ways to teach his students. He is heavily involved with 518 Martial Arts and the evolution of martial arts competition.
