BLACK is the fusion of all colors. It indicates one who has gained all of the traits and skill necessary to surpass obstacles encountered in the first "day" of the way. Black is the color of the night: it shows that the first "day" is over and that a new day is coming. It shows that the journey is not over, but merely begun.
Prerequisites:
- Instruct one technique class
- Instruct one kata class
- Instruct one self defense or one step self defense class
- 1 year active training and teaching as Ichi Kyu/Brown Belt 1st°
